  • Gokhale Institute of politics and Economics will conduct “entrance examination at designated centres, using computer screen based software.
  • Please read brochures of M.Sc. programmes, M.A. (Economics) programme, and B.Sc. (Economics) programme carefully for which you are interested to take admission and apply to the programmes.
  • Your safety is of paramount importance to us. Please make sure that you follow and adhere to COVID related norms like social distancing, wearing masks, and follow all other government rules as may be applicable in your area during the entrance examination.
  • Hall tickets will be issued 10 days before the online examination date.

For International applicants:

  • The GIPE entrance examination is also mandatory for Foreign National / NRIs / OCIs, etc. candidates. Such candidates will appear for the GIPE Entrance Examination with Indian citizens. In addition to this, the Institute may also conduct interviews to admit them in programme.
  • The Institute will review the time zones of the Foreign National / NRIs / OCIs, etc. candidates, if any and will take decision accordingly.
